Are you giving your home
the best chance to sell...?
The property market consistantly cycles through downturns and booms, but no matter what the market is doing, selling your home can be extremely stressful. It's easy to get overwhelmed by negative feedback or at the very worst, no feedback due to no viewings, but if your home has been on the market for quite some time and it isn't selling, there's usually a good reason why.
Most of the time, you are emotionally attached to your home, and seeing it through your own eyes can be a lot different to how prospective buyers are seeing it. Those areas you've become used to, the creaking floor, the squeaking door, chipped walls, unfinished tiling, are the exact same areas your potential buyers are drawn to. And be sure, they will use them to get your asking price down!
It's important to listen to market trends and to adapt to what buyers are wanting as much as possible. You need to think like a buyer and be self-critical. Give the buyers what they want to see!
First impressions count so you need to make sure you market your property for maximum impact. No matter what, you are always in competition with another house for sale, in the same price bracket. You have to have an edge over your competitor to get your buyer.
So is your home looking its best? What needs to be done on the outside? What needs to be done on the inside?
Just as much as the right price matters, presentation is key to ensuring you are giving your home the best chance to sell.

LOCATION: Windsor, QLD
This old 40's home was a sight for sore eyes. With just two bedrooms and one awkward bathroom, an original kitchen and no access to outside areas for entertaining, this house was in fine condition for a relatively large makeover.
Adding another bedroom and an ensuite, whilst also opening the living areas up onto a newly built side deck, turned this beast into a beautiful family home enjoying comfortable spaces and views...not to mention the new floors, kitchen, lighting, landscaping, and lots more!
